A Day at the Seaside

A stunning photo in brilliant blue and white is further enhanced with rich green and terra- cotta patterned papers. Bronze colored mesh captures seashore embellishments of shells, floral sprays, and a charming seahorse.

Instructions

1. Cut one 11½" square (tearing along all four edges) from orange side of Sealife patterned paper, one 2⅜" x 9" rectangle (tearing along one short edge) from green side and one 7/8" x 6" strip from blue side of Under the Sea patterned paper, one 8" square (tearing along all four sides) from green patterned paper, one 6¼" x 7¼" rectangle (tearing along all four sides) from Seashells patterned paper, and one 10" strip from Magic Mesh.
   
2. Use sandpaper to distress around outside edges of blue side of Sealife patterned paper. Center and adhere Sealife square onto blue side of Sealife patterned paper. Vertically adhere Under the Sea rectangle centered along right side of Sealife square. Machine zig-zag stitch along right side of Under the Sea rectangle and around inside perimeter of Sealife square. Center and adhere green square onto Sealife square. Crinkle Seashell rectangle and center and adhere onto green square, tucking Magic Mesh strip under bottom edge and extending 2" beyond each edge. Vertically adhere Under the Sea strip along right side of Seashell rectangle.
   
3. Use Pearl Green and Solar Gold Radiant Rain to lightly spray layout, all chipboard embellishments (seahorse, starfish, and sea shells), and flowers. Allow to dry. Center and adhere photo onto page.
   
4. Adhere embellishments onto layout, tucking Oceana sticker Shapes along left side and folding Magic Mesh in at sides as shown in project photo. Use foam dots to apply Seahorse, flowers and ribbons, referring to project photo for guidance. Use Alpha Stickers to create sentiment (“A day at the” used here) onto Oceana Shapes stickers as shown. Adhere sentiment under bottom right of photo as shown.
   
5. Use Superseal to spray the entire layout. This will protect it from dirt, dust, moisture and sun damage.
