Instructions (for both)
1. From blue paper, cut two rectangles equal in size to the top and bottom front of the clip. Use the small piece of dry sponge and blue to ink the perimeter of each rectangle. Adhere the rectangles onto the front of the clip.
2. Use the Flower stamp and black ink to apply the image onto bright pink cardstock, then cut it out just outside the edges. Ink the edges of the flower with bright pink. Thread sewing needle with the black thread and stitch one flat button onto the center of the flower. Use a dimensional adhesive square to adhere the flower onto the top of the clip as shown.
3. Cut a 1/4" x 3-5/8" strip from the green paper and use the black marker to draw a border just in from the perimeter. Adhere the strip vertically onto the bottom of the clip 1/4" in from the left side. Stamp swirls with black ink onto green paper and use the black marker to draw a leaf shape around the swirls. Then cut out the shape just outside the line and adhere the bottom only onto the bottom of the clip, referring to project photo as a placement guide.
4. Wrap the length of orange/white plaid ribbon from the back around the bottom front of the clip and tie the ends into a knot on the front. Load printer with white cardstock (cut to 8-1/2" x 11") and use the font from the materials list or a font of choice and black to journal sentiments (“spring into life” featured here) on one line. Print out the sheet and cut a 3/4" x 3" strip around the journaling. Then cut the two corners on the left side on a diagonal to create a tag shape. Punch a 3/16"-dia. hole into the tapered end of the tag and insert a silver eyelet into the hole. Cut a 5" length of pink cord and insert one end through the eyelet in the tag, then wrap that end around the knot in the ribbon and tie the ends of the cord into a bow on the front.
5. Mat one photo onto green paper with a 3/16" border and use the black marker to draw a border just in from the perimeter of the mat. Place the photo in the clip.
6. To create the second clip, repeat Steps 1 to 5, substituting the other paper and embellishments from the list and journaling another sentiment ("flower power" featured here) for the tag.
