Capture the Moments
Creating a calendar page layout is a unique and fun way to view weeks at a time in one single glance. The “August” layout, designed by Becky Thackston, looks exactly like a calendar page, leaving plenty of room to document everyday thoughts and events. The large journaled block provides an overview of activities that occurred during the month, while daily blocks are reserved to record those special times on the precise date that they happened. Designer Jamie Tharpe makes liberal use of micro-mini photos and journaling is kept to a minimum on her abbreviated layout entitled “Capture the Moment.” A grunge ruler transparency substitutes for numbered squares and adds just the right panache to this stylish page.
